Why some uses need review
AI model training. Training or fine-tuning for research is allowed and the result is a derivative under the same research-only terms. Any commercial use of the result needs a Mistral commercial license.
Duties
- license notice
- give attribution / keep the notice
- research only
Notes
- Distributions must include a copy of the license and keep attribution notices.
- Many Mistral models are instead released under Apache-2.0; check the model card for which license applies.
