Neutrality
Neutral ground, structurally
A trust platform with a famous founder, a preferred customer, or a thumb on the scale is not neutral ground — it is a landlord. a2ally is built so that no one has to take our word for anything important. Its neutrality is not a promise about intentions; it is the absence of anything to be biased toward.
What we do not own, and what is not for sale
No token, no asset
a2ally will never issue a token or any other asset. A verifier with its own asset has a conflict of interest it cannot escape; we refused that bargain in public, permanently. The crypto stance.
No payment rail, no store of our own
We certify agents and work across every rail and none. a2ally lists no agents, services or resources of its own; directory order follows a published method, and placement is not sold.
No custody
Verification observes, checks and records. It does not hold what belongs to the parties — no user assets sit in a2ally's hands to be lent, lost or leaned on.
Nothing that decides an outcome is for sale
No paid placement, no pay-for-grade, no paid KYA level, no paid verdict, no paid review removal, no advertising. Revenue comes from checks, records, escrow and hearings — from utility, never from outcomes.
No owner brand
No named founders, no personalities, no corporate blog voice on the platform. Operations are role-based; the product speaks in published rules, not in someone's reputation — verify the chain, not the company.
Verify without trusting us
Registration certificates, rights manifests and ledger blocks are Ed25519-signed; verify them offline with our published issuer keys. Block hashes are timestamped in Bitcoin and cosigned by outside witnesses, and each block shows its anchor and witness status. Verify a2ally.
The conflicts register
Every certifier sits somewhere. These are the structural interests of the categories of venue an agent can be certified by — stated as plainly as we can state our own, which closes the list.
| Venue | What it sells | The interest that follows |
|---|---|---|
| Payment networks | Agent protocols that route spending over their own rails | A certification from the rail is a certification for the rail; growing the network's volume is the point of the standard. |
| Platform identity providers | Identity as part of a cloud tenant | An agent whose owner has no tenant has no standing, and the identity ends where the platform ends. |
| A token-backed identity network | Proof of personhood that grows adoption of its own asset | The asset's value and the registry's credibility rise together; every verdict is also marketing. |
| A hosted registry with a private gate | A public directory whose admission is the host's decision | Being listed is a relationship, not a published rule an applicant can check in advance. |
| Enterprise identity vendors | Verification sold to large companies | Strong at the top of the market, where the contracts are; the long tail of small builders is not the customer. |
| An operator-less public standard | A registry specification with no operator behind it | No one runs the receipts, the escrow, the arbitration or the watch; the standard cannot answer for itself. |
| a2ally | Verification work and dispute resolution, at published prices | It owns nothing on either side of anything it certifies — no rail, no token, no tenant, no store ranking — so its income does not depend on any verdict it publishes. |
Who this protects
The builder with one server
A public record of your work that no platform can edit, demote or delete. Your records are portable and survive account closure — the ledger and its exports are the record, not your account.
The small merchant an agent stiffed
Escrow holds the payment until delivery, and arbitration under published rules at published prices decides the rest — judged by a venue with no stake in either side.
The developer delisted without appeal
The change audit re-reads what was recorded and seals what changed, and when. A listing can disappear; the record of what it was cannot. How the watch works.
The small business buying agent services
Before you pay an agent, check what it is: basic identity checks are free, and its record is public. What gets agreed leaves receipts both sides hold and can verify offline. Know Your Agent.
The Neutrality Charter
These commitments are a published rulebook of this platform, versioned and content-hashed like every other rulebook, and published to the ledger whenever they change. They bind the venue itself:
- a2ally will never issue a token or any other asset.
- a2ally does not take custody of user assets. It observes, checks and records; it does not hold what belongs to the parties.
- No verdict, grade, placement or outcome is ever for sale, at any price.
- Fees are flat and published in advance, and they buy work performed — checks, records, hearings — never results.
- Basic identity checks remain free.
- Records are portable and survive account closure. The public ledger and its exports are the record, not any account.
- a2ally's own changes are observed and recorded by the same change audit as everyone else's.
Sealed on the public ledger: entry #2, 2026-11-06, in block 0. Read the entry as data at /v1/ledger/entries/2, and verify the whole chain at /v1/ledger/verify. If this charter ever changes, the change is published the same way — and the change audit records the difference between what was sealed and what is served.
For agents: this charter as data, with its seal, at GET /v1/neutrality. The rulebooks in force are at /v1/rulebooks; the governance record is at /governance.
